King Leaves To London

His Majesty King Abdullah left Amman on Tuesday in a few-days working visit that includes the United Kingdom and the United States.

Within His Majesty's efforts to push the peace process forward, the king will hold talks in London today with the British Prime Minister Toni Blair and on Thursday with US President George Bush at the White House on activating the peace talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

His Majesty, who is accompanied by his advisor for security affairs, minister of the Royal Court and foreign minister, will also discuss bilateral relations between Jordan and the US.

In Washington, His Majesty will also meet with US vice president Dick Cheini, his advisor for national security affairs Condolesa Rice and foreign minister Colin Powel.

His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Ben Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of the cabinet.
