King launches credit fund for army, security apparatus

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), on Thursday launched the “Military Credit Fund for Jordan Armed Forces and Security Apparatus”.

The fund will provide financing services for JAF personnel and employees at security agencies.

It will help finance housing and other living expenses needed by this bracket.

The initiative was announced during an iftar that held on Thursday by the Jordan Armed Forces in honour of King Abdullah.

The gesture is in line with the King's commitment to pursue different programmes which meet the needs of military and security personnel to secure a decent living for these families.

The credit fund will offer housing and personal loans, along with other financial services.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal, His Royal Highness Prince Hashem, Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi and several senior officials and officers were present at the iftar, which was held at the King Abdullah I Infantry School in Zarqa.

The King performed maghreb prayers with the attendees.
