Sunday met Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, who handed the King
a message from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak dealing with the mounting
tension in the region particularly the perilous situation in the Palestinian
territories.

met Executive Secretary General of the Economic and Social Commission
for Western Asia (ESCWA) Mervat Tallaway, who highly appreciated King
Abdullah`s continued support to the organization`s activities and programs.
She extended an invitation to King Abdullah to chair ESCWA`s upcoming
meeting devoted to discuss topics on information technology.
