His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, visited on Monday an army unit at the Jordanian-Syrian border.

During the visit, King Abdullah listened to a briefing by the unit commander on its duties.

His Majesty commended the border guards' role in safeguarding the Kingdom and dealing with the Syrian refugee crisis.

The King shared an Iftar meal with the unit's soldiers and performed Maghrib prayers with them.
