His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday directed the Public Security Department to facilitate the entry to Jordan of Lebanese and foreigners fleeing the deteriorating situation in Lebanon.

The directives were issued during a visit to PSD, where the King listened to a briefing by Director of PSD Lt. General Mohammad Aitan on the services police provides for citizens.

Also on Saturday, King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), paid a visit to the Army Headquarters where he discussed with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Khaled Sarayreh issues of concern to the JAF.
