His Majesty King Abdullah instructed the government to start immediately working on transferring activists injured in an Israeli naval attack on an international humanitarian aid flotilla to Jordan to receive treatment.

King Abdullah ordered the government to coordinate with all countries that had activists on board the aid convoy in order to bring them to the Kingdom and to ensure their safe arrival in their home countries. He also instructed the government to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of Jordanians who were on board and to bring them back home.

He also urged authorities to dispatch more aid from Jordan to the besieged Gaza Strip through the JHCO, which has been in charge of sending aid to Gaza since the Israeli aggression on the strip began.

King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's strong condemnation of the Israeli attack on the flotilla, describing it as a crime and a clear violation of international law. He urged the international community to take immediate and serious action to lift the illegitimate and punishing blockade on Gaza. He also called for a transparent international investigation into the assault.

The King stressed that the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestinian lands is the main cause of tension in the region, and said that the establishment of an independent and viable state for Palestinians on their national soil is the only solution to achieve peace, security and stability in the region.
