His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday instructed the Jordan Armed Forces and other security forces to support local and central government efforts to carry out their duties during the current severe weather conditions.

The army was asked to help reopen roads blocked by snow and floods and offer relief aid and needed rescue services.
