King Inspects Conditions of Citizens and Opens Developmental Project in Jerash

Within his keen interest to achieve development and create job opportunities for citizens and improve their living conditions, His Majesty king Abdullah II, laid on Wednesday, the foundation stone of a food manufacturing project in Al Mi'rad District in the Jerash governorate.

His Majesty also inspected during his visit to the area, Al Razi Health Center which provides health services to 44,000 people in the governorate.

The King issued directives to expand the center to become a comprehensive health center, with a view to reduce pressure on the Jerash Hospital.

His Majesty also opened in Al Mi'rad a "knowledge station" which is one of 100 stations scattered around the Kingdom. He affirmed that he will provide job opportunities for those who study at the station once they complete their course.

King Abdullah took an initiative to open these station which are funded by the King Abdullah Development Fund since 2001, with a view to bridge the digital gap between Jordan and the world on one hand, and between the various regions of the Kingdom on the other.

His Majesty also made a donation to equip and furnish Al Rawda Mosque in Al Mi'rad, visited tow poor families in the area and offered them a financial donation.
