Amman

His Majesty King Abdullah II affirmed that prosperity can not be achieved in any country or region in isolation, calling the participants in the extraordinary annual meeting of the World Economic Forum to adopt a real partnership, a partnership based on common values and fate, to achieve the human development based on mutual respect and true dialogue.

In his speech in the penning session of the World Economic Forum, the King said on Saturday that the basic requirement is the existence of a civic democratic society that guarantees that rights delegates responsibilities, honors merit and rewards achievement.

The King added that we in Jordan- and many others, throughout the Middle East, are working hard to create a civic environment in which our people will thrive.
