Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania on Monday inaugurated the permanent headquarters of the Hashemite Charitable Society for Soldiers with Special Needs.
The society, which was established in 1998 and operated from rented premises, is now located in the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Rehabilitation and Social Services Centre for Soldiers with Special Needs.
As soldiers are a major concern of the King, he has given the society his full support and two years ago he donated these premises for our new headquarters, said Suleiman Ghneimat, who heads its Public Relations Department.
Following the inauguration ceremony, the King and Queen toured the facility and met with several beneficiaries.
The society, which provides several medical services to a total of 2,232 servicemen, has five offices in the governorates.
