His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Monday visited the army headquarters.

King Abdullah met with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Zaben and discussed several army-related issues.

His Majesty also inaugurated the officers club and toured its facilities in Amman’s Tabarbour neighbourhood.

Built upon the King’s directives, the 7,000 square metre, four-storey club is built on a 22-dunum plot of land, and includes play grounds, swimming pools and gardens.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal, Zaben and several senior army officers attended the inauguration ceremony.
