His Majesty King Abdullah and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein joined worshippers for Friday prayers at the new Fatima Zahraa Mosque in Mafraq.
King Abdullah inaugurated the mosque, which accommodates 2,500 worshipers and includes a library, a Quran memorisation centre and an office for the Zakat Fund.
His Majesty listened to a sermon delivered by Imam Mohammad Shdeifat on the significance of the Bader battle in Islamic history, particularly in uniting Muslims regardless of their colour and origin.
