His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, inaugurated on Thursday the Gendarmerie Department premises in Deir Al Sina in Irbid.

During the visit, King Abdullah attended exercises performed by a Gendarmerie unit. He voiced pride in the efforts exerted by members of the Gendarmerie to protect national assets.

During the visit, the King also toured an exhibition displaying equipment and machinery used by the Gendarmerie.

Gendarmerie Department Director General Major General Tawfiq Tawalbeh and other high-ranking officers attended the inauguration ceremony.
