His Majesty King Abdullah expressed hope that Israel would react positively to the Arab Peace Initiative.

On Monday, King Abdullah told Dubai-based Al Arabiya television that a message should be sent to Israel that if it has the desire and intention to live in peace, it should seek peace and accept the Arab Peace Initiative.

The King said that the initiative guarantees Israel's people to live in security and peace alongside the peoples of the region.

His Majesty also added: We want to send a message of peace through the summit and tell the world we are peace advocates and seek to disavow violence and extremism but in return Israel has to accept peace based on a two-state solution.
