The winners of the King Abdullah II Award for Physical Fitness were honoured in a ceremony at Al Hussein Sports City on Tuesday.
Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania acted as patrons of the event, in which 21 gold medals were awarded to students from schools across the country.
Among the winning students was HRH Princess Iman, who received a gold medal and a certificate of appreciation for coming 85th out of 31,000 students at the gold medal level.
During the ceremony, King Abdullah also honoured the winning schools and the award's central committee.
The award was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and under the supervision of the Royal Health Awareness Society, a nonprofit organization established under the direction of Her Majesty Queen Rania.
