Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania on Tuesday paid a brief working visit to Qatar, during which the King and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Ben Khalifa Al Thani reviewed bilateral ties and regional issues.

Upon their arrival at Doha International Airport, the King and the Queen were received by the Emir of Qatar, his wife Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al Missned and Qatar’s Crown Prince Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Thani.

The two leaders discussed bilateral ties, Arab affairs and regional developments.

At a meeting in Doha, the two leaders stressed the need to enhance joint cooperation and the importance of continued consultation and coordination to develop a united Arab position on regional challenges that serve Arab countries’ interests.

Sheikh Hamad and Sheikha Mozah held a lunch banquet Tuesday in honour of Their Majesties.

King Abdullah and Queen Rania returned to Jordan later on Tuesday.
