His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday discussed bilateral ties and prospects for further cooperation with French Gendarmerie Director General Jacques Mignaux.

During a meeting on Sunday, the King and Mignaux underlined the need for both countries’ gendarmerie forces to exchange expertise in the training, technical and security fields. The Gendarmerie Department and its French counterpart are partners in a twinning project, launched by the EU mission in Amman in July in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.
