King holds talks with British foreign secretary

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday stressed the need to increase international efforts to ensure a comprehensive and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue.

During talks with British Foreign Secretary William Hague, King Abdullah expressed Jordan’s concerns over the increase in violence in Syria.

The King also outlined Jordan’s steps to implement reforms.

Hague commended the Kingdom’s reform endeavour and voiced appreciation for Jordan’s role in pushing for peace in the Middle East.

The British diplomat held a dinner banquet in honour of His Majesty and the accompanying delegation.
