His Majesty King Abdullah and British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Monday held talks on current developments in the Middle East as well as international anti-terrorism efforts.



The two leaders discussed the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and means to help the Palestinian government control territories to be included in the pullout.



King Abdullah reiterated that the Israeli withdrawal should help achieve peace in the Middle East and establish an independent Palestinian state.



The King, meanwhile, agreed with Blair that international efforts should be coordinated against terror, saying that the majority of terror victims were Muslims.



During his visit, the King expressed solidarity with the British people following the terrorist attacks that targeted London recently.



On the Iraqi issue, both leaders said they support the measures taken to rebuild the country, stressing that the participation of all Iraqis in formulating Iraq's future was important.
