King Expresses Hope that a Final Agreement will be reached to Achieve Peace in Sudan

His Majesty King Abdullah II met on Tuesday a number of Sudanese leaderships and expressed his hope that a final peace agreement will be reached to achieve Sudanese people's aspirations in security, stability and development.
During his meeting with Sudanese Vice President, Musa Mushar, the two sides discussed means of enhancing bilateral ties as well as the latest developments regarding the peace process in Sudan.
His Majesty the King asserted Jordan's readiness to offer every possible assistance to Sudan particularly in health, education and agricultural fields.
The King also expressed Jordan's readiness to receive Sudanese students at the Jordanian universities.
On the other hand, the King received Secretary General of the Sudanese National Conference, Ibrahim Ahmad Omar. The King stressed that the Sudanese issue is at the core of his majesty's interests.
In addition, King Abdullah met with President of the Sudanese National Council, Ahmad Ibrahim Taher, and discussed with him mechanisms of enhancing bilateral relations between the two counties, particularly in the parliamentary field.
Taher stressed that King Abdullah's visit to Sudan reflects His Majesty's keenness on supporting the Arab ties and promoting cooperation and joint solidarity.
Regarding the activities of the Joint Jordanian- Sudanese Committee, the King was briefed by a number of Jordanian experts supervising on the Jordanian- Sudanese agricultural project on the project's achievements, he also issued his instruction to provide every support to the project with a view to guarantee its success.
