His Majesty King Abdullah has sent a cable to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimour Al Said of Oman, expressing condolences over the passing of Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

In the cable, King Abdullah paid tribute to the honourable positions of Sultan Qaboos, who dedicated his life to serving Oman and Arab and Islamic causes, in addition to supporting Jordan under all circumstances.

His Majesty also expressed sympathies to the people of Oman, on behalf of the people and government of Jordan.
