King, Egyptian president discuss regional developments

His Majesty King Abdullah and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, in a phone call on Tuesday, discussed bilateral ties and current regional developments, particularly those related to the Palestinian issue and Jerusalem.

In the phone call, King Abdullah affirmed the importance of stepping up efforts and coordinating Arab positions to safeguard the rights of Palestinians, Muslims, and Christians to Jerusalem, and to support the Palestinians in their efforts to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The two leaders also agreed to maintain coordination and consultations in the service of Arab causes.
