His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday met with Omani State Council Chairman Yahya Bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri and an accompanying delegation, stressing the solid relations between Jordan and Oman.

During the meeting, King Abdullah asserted the need to implement the recommendations of the joint Jordanian-Omani committee, expressing the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthen joint cooperation, especially in parliamentary areas.

Discussions also covered the latest regional developments, mainly the fallout of the Syrian crisis and efforts to achieve Middle East peace.
