King discusses Lebanese and Palestinian situations with Siniora, Abbas and Blair

His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday stressed Jordan's solidarity with the Lebanese and Palestinian people.

During a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, the King condemned the continuous Israeli offensive in Lebanon, expressing Jordan's readiness to offer help and contribute to the country's rebuilding.

In another phone conversation with President Mahmoud Abbas, the King voiced Jordan's full support to the Palestinian people.

He said that Jordan would continue to extend all forms of political and humanitarian assistance to the Palestinians.

The King discussed the crisis as well with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and called for ending Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
