King Departs to Russia

His Majesty king Abdullah II left Amman on Tuesday heading for Moscow on a two-day working visit to the Russia Federation, during which he will hold talks with Russia President Vladimir Putin on bilateral ties and scopes of cooperation between the two countries.



His Majesty's talks at the Kremlin on Wednesday, will focus on the situation in the Middle east, efforts that aim at resuming the peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis, in addition to the latest developments in Iraq.



King Abdullah is accompanied by His Majesty's Advisor for Security Affairs, Director of the Intelligence Department and Rapporteur of the State Security Council, General Saad Kheir.



His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent in the presence of cabinet ministers.
