His Majesty King Abdullah on Monday congratulated the Jordan National Football Team for qualifying for the AFC Asian Cup 2011 quarter-finals after defeating Syria 2-1.

During a phone call with His Royal Highness Prince Ali, president of the Jordan Football Association, the West Asian Football Federation and FIFA Vice President for Asia, team coach Adnan Hamad and the team's captain Hatem Aqel, King Abdullah voiced pride of the national team performance and achievement.
