His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday telephoned Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri and congratulated him on the formation of a national unity government in Lebanon.

During the telephone conversation, King Abdullah said the formation of the government is an important step to boost the security and stability of Lebanon, preserve its national interests and empower the Lebanese people to confront challenges facing them.

King Abdullah voiced confidence in Hariri's ability to boost national reconciliation.
