His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday congratulated workers on the occasion of International Labour Day. In a radio statement, King Abdullah expressed pride and appreciation for workers’ efforts and said it was thanks to them that Jordan steps confidently into the future.

In the broadcast statement this morning, the King stressed Jordan's ability to achieve further progress “based on our abilities and capabilities and feeling of responsibility.”
