His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday strongly condemned a suicide car bomb attack at an ancient temple in Yemen that killed seven Spanish tourists and two Yemenis.

In a cable to President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the King stressed Jordan's support for Yemen, which has blamed Al Qaeda for the attack.

King Abdullah also sent a similar cable to Spanish King Juan Carlos, condemning the attack and expressing sympathy to the victims of the families.
