His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday condemned the heinous attack that took place in Barcelona, killing a number of victims and injuring many others.

In a cable to King Felipe VI of Spain, King Abdullah expressed his condemnation of this cowardly criminal act, stressing that Jordan stands with Spain at this difficult time.

His Majesty reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting international efforts to fight terrorism.

In the cable, the King expressed Jordan’s heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
