King condemns attacks on London

His Majesty King Abdullah on Thursday condemned the terrorist attacks that targeted London today.


In a statement issued by the Royal Hashemite Court, His Majesty stressed Jordan's solidarity with the British people and his condemnation of such criminal acts that left several fatalities and injuries.


The King underlined the need for all to join efforts to fight all forms of terrorism and the forces that support and stand behind it.



His Majesty said that our true Islamic religion condemns the killing of innocents and rejects all forms of violence and terrorism, stressing that Islamic values promote tolerance and justice and renounce violence.



The King extended his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.
