King concludes Europe tour

His Majesty King Abdullah on Friday returned home following a several-day three-country European tour, which took him to Kosovo, Austria and Spain.

In Spain, the final leg of the Royal tour, King Abdullah met with Spanish Monarch Felipe VI and discussed ways to bolster ties as well as the latest international developments and efforts to fight terrorism, which remains a global threat. While in Spain also, the King met with the Spanish premier, political figures, intellectuals and academics, and briefed them on the latest developments in the Middle East.

In Vienna, the second leg of the tour, His Majesty held talks with the Austrian president, Chancellor and lawmakers on bilateral ties and ways to bolster them in various spheres. Talks also touched on the Syrian crisis and the importance of finding a political solution to the several-year crisis.

In Kosovo, the first leg of the Royal tour, the King met with the president and prime minister of the European nation, where they discussed bilateral ties and the latest developments in the Middle East. Talks also touched on the need to expand ties between the two countries, mainly in the economic domains.
