King Calls for Benefiting From the Qualitative Educational Opportunities

His Majesty King Abdullah II called on Sunday to give the way for the citizens to benefit from qualitative educational opportunities and the use of information technology in a way that encourage them to invest their creative capabilities in enhancing their lives.



During launching the Jordanian educational initiative, the King stressed that spreading the base of using information technology will promote the educational level and its services. The King noted that this initiative forms the first step, if it succeeds, in transforming the telecommunication industry and information technology to neighboring counties especially that it guarantees creating ideal environment to pursue the development of Jordanian human resources and to prepare qualified staff.



The King stressed that the success of this initiative, which is based on a qualitative partnership between the public sector and the representatives of the private sector, will promote peace and stability in Middle East and achieve welfare to the people of the region.



For his part, President of the World Economic Forum Professor Schwab said that there is a confidence in the coordination and cooperation among the various participating parties in the field of education, Schwab affirmed that such an initiative will undoubtedly build a better
and promising future for the coming generations.



It is noted that Minster of Telecommunication and Information Technology Fawaz Z'ubi affirmed that Jordan has become capable to face challenges of the century through launching this pioneering educational project.
