Arabs must speak in one voice to the international community, particularly the US, regarding the achievement of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, His Majesty King Abdullah told Arab foreign ministers on Saturday.
The King was speaking during a meeting with top diplomats from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Lebanon and Palestine as well as Arab League Secretary General Amr Musa.
The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister Nader Dahabi, Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh and the King's Adviser Ayman Safadi.
King Abdullah reiterated the necessity of an immediate re-launch of serious negotiations to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in accordance with the two-state solution as the basis for a comprehensive peace in the region, also based on international law and the Arab peace plan.
The meeting, held over a luncheon hosted by the King, precedes a visit by the King to Washington for talks with President Barack Obama during which he will convey to American officials the Arab stance on the peace process adopted at the Doha Summit.
