His Majesty King Abdullah met on Monday with chief executive officers and managers of international banks participating in an international monetary conference in Amman.

At the meeting, King Abdullah underlined the urgent need to foster partnerships among business communities around the world to deal with the current global financial crisis.

He also highlighted the economic and investment opportunities available in the Jordan, stressing that enhancing economic performance is a priority to the Kingdom.

Discussions at the meeting also focused on financial and economic issues in the region and the world.

During the meeting, Abdel Karim Kabariti, the chairman and chief executive officer of Jordan Kuwait Bank presented a brief summary of issues and affairs discussed at the conference.
