His Majesty King Abdullah and US President George W. Bush on Friday discussed Lebanon, Iraq, Iran and the Israeli-Palestinian issue by telephone.

The King told Bush that UN Resolution 1701 should be respected and not violated.

King Abdullah added that more international community efforts were needed to resume peace negotiations and solve the Palestinian cause.
