His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday held talks with President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani.
King Abdullah and Barzani discussed ways to boost bilateral relations in all fields, particularly in the economic, commercial and cultural fields.
Also during the talks, which continued over a lunch banquet, King Abdullah reiterated Jordan's support for Iraq's efforts in achieving stability and security in the eastern neighbour, which, he said, is a main pillar of the entire region's stability and security.
Also present at the meeting were Prime Minister Samir Rifai, Royal Court Chief Nasser Lozi, King's Adviser Ayman Safadi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh in addition to senior Iraqi officials.
