King, Bahrain interior minister discuss ties

His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday received Bahrain’s Minister of Interior Sheikh Rashed Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, who conveyed greetings from Bahrain’s King Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa to the King.

During a meeting, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, King Abdullah asserted the brotherly and distinguished relations between the two kingdoms and their joint commitment to boosting them in various areas in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries.

In this context, the King expressed the importance of increasing cooperation and coordination between Jordanian and Bahraini institutions and the need to increase exchange of expertise, especially in the areas of administrative and police work.

The Bahraini official expressed pride of the strong relations between the two countries, highlighting the joint efforts at the leadership level to develop and strengthen these relations in all spheres.

Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh, His Majesty’s Office Director Imad Fakhoury and Interior Minister Hussein Majali, Bahrain’s Ambassador in Amman Nasser Kaabi and the accompanying delegation attended the meeting.
