King Attends WEF Session in which Dubai Crown Prince Reviews Development Experience

His Majesty King Abdullah II attended a session at the World Economic Forum, in which the Crown Prince of Dubai and Defense Minister of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al Maktoum, reviewed the UAE's experience in the field of development.



His Highness, who valued His Majesty King Abdullah's efforts to develop the Jordanian economy despite the current situation in the region, reviewed a number of initiatives that have been adopted by the government of Dubai in the fields of e-government, IT, e-learning, the development of the economy and the major strategic projects that have been implemented and are being implemented in Dubai, such as the Media City and the Dubai Land City which will be one of the most attractive tourist sites in the world.



"The qualitative leap and successes that have been achieved by Dubai in the economic and trade fields, are attributed to the courageous projects and perseverance to establish these projects," he said, adding that 90 percent of the services are accomplished through the e-government.



His Highness said that Arab countries could benefit from Dubai's experience, affirming that the Arab world is rich with its qualified manpower that could achieve similar successes.
