King attends national celebrations

His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday attended a celebration on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Kingdom’s establishment, the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt, Army Day and the Accession to the Throne.

About half a million people gathered Saturday along the streets of Amman to greet the King’s motorcade.

Thousands of citizens from various governorates marched from Amman’s Eighth Circle to the Khalda Roundabout, waving banners and pictures of the King and singing national songs.
