His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Wednesday attended a military exercise in the northern military area.

Accompanied by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff General Khalid Sarayreh, the King was briefed on the troops' training programmes.

The exercise was also attended by a number of senior army officers.
