His Majesty King Abdullah, the supreme commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Wednesday attended a ceremony organised by the military in cooperation with the British Embassy to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the King's assumption of his constitutional powers.
The ceremony included a musical performance by the armed forces' marching band and the British Electronic and Mechanical Engineers corps.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Royal family, Prime Minister Nader Dahabi, Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Abdul Hadi Majali, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Khaled Jameel Al Sarayrah and his British counterpart, as well as other high ranking officers.
