His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday attended the second Brunei International Defence Exhibition (BRIDEX) held in Bandar Seri Begawan.

Inaugurated by Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, around 250 companies specialised in defence industries from various countries, including Jordan, took part in the exhibition.

King Abdullah and Bolkiah toured the expo and were briefed on different defence products showcased in the fair.

The two leaders also visited the Jordanian pavilion which featured equipment manufactured by the King Abdullah Design and Development Bureau (KADDB).

Bolkiah held a lunch banquet in honour of King Abdullah and delegates participating in the exhibition.

On the sidelines of BRIDEX, the King and the sultan observed military drills performed by marine, land and air combat units.
