King attends army Iftar

His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Wednesday said Jordan will overcome all challenges and defeat all difficulties through the will of its people and its brave armed forces.



Addressing army officers and soldiers following an Iftar banquet held by the JAF at the Royal Military Academy, His Majesty the King expressed pride in every Jordanian soldier, stressing that Jordan will remain a fort of dignity and steadfastness and will always be strong.



Meanwhile, King Abdullah announced the allocation of JD50 for each retired and serving military and security personnel, as well as civil servants and retirees. The payment was in addition to the one allocated by the government few weeks ago.



King Abdullah was accompanied during his visit to the Royal Military Academy by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Feisal and Prince Hussein, Deputy Director of National Security and acting Director of King's Office Marouf Bakhit and King's Advisor Yousef Dalabih.



Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of- Staff-General Khalid Sarayreh and senior army officers were also present.
