King attends Arab summit in Kuwait

His Majesty King Abdullah joined 16 Arab leaders at the Economic, Development and Social Summit that opened in Kuwait today and was dedicated to discussing the crisis of the Palestinians in Gaza.

The King and Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz met on the sidelines of the summit as part of their efforts to coordinate on addressing common challenges and serving Arab causes. Their talks focussed on ways to assist the Palestinians in dealing with the consequences of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

King Abdullah also attended the lunch banquet hosted by the Saudi monarch. The lunch was also attended by the Egyptian and Syrian presidents as well as the Bahraini King and the Emirs of Qatar and Kuwait.
