His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday discussed with Syrian President Bashar Assad bilateral ties and the regional situation.

The two leaders agreed to postpone till mid-November the meetings of the Joint Jordanian-Syrian Higher Committee, which were scheduled for this week.
