His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday arrived in Washington on an official visit.

During the several-day visit, King Abdullah will meet with US President Barack Obama and discuss efforts to achieve regional peace and bilateral ties.

During the visit, the King will participate in the International Conference on Nuclear Security, to be held in Washington with the participation of 46 countries.

He will also hold several meetings with US political and economic figures, in addition to participating in a debate on peace efforts in the region at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs with the participation of 650 leading American and international figures.

His Royal Highness Prince Feisal has been sworn in as Regent.
