His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived on Thursday to Moscow on a two- day official visit to the Russian Federation.
The King will hold a summit meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which the two leaders will discuss the situation in Palestine and Iraq in addition to relations between Jordan and Russia.
The King will also meet with the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov to discuss mechanisms of developing bilateral ties.
In Moscow, His Majesty will deliver a speech at the Moscow Institute for International Relations in the presence of scientific, political and academic figures, and will meet with a number of Russian businessmen to brief them of prospects of investment in Jordan and possibilities of establishing investment projects and partnership between the private sector of both countries.
King Abdullah is accompanied by an official delegation that includes the King's Advisor for Security Affairs, Director of the Intelligence Department and Rappoerteur of the State Security Council, General Saad Khier, Minister of the Hashemite Royal Court Sameer Rifai, His Majesty's Advisor Akil Beltaji, Foreign Minister, Dr. Marwan Muasher, Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Bassim Awadallah and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Alia Bouran.
