King arrives in Manama

His Majesty King Abdullah on Tuesday arrived in Manama for a working visit and talks with Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifah on ways of cementing bilateral ties.

The two leaders will also discuss regional developments, including the escalating violence in Syria and other issues of common interest.

The Bahraini monarch led high-ranking Bahraini officials in a welcoming ceremony at Manama Airport for King Abdullah, who was accompanied by Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.

On Wednesday, King Abdullah will travel on to Kuwait to take part in an international donors conference to raise funds for Syrian refugees.
