His Majesty King Abdullah II arrived on Saturday in Korea in the outset of an Asian working tour that will also takehim to China, Hong Kong and Thailand.
The King's visit aims to attract foreign investments into Jordan and boost Jordan's economic and political ties with these countries.
His Majesty is expected to meet with Korean President, Ruh Mu Heun and discuss with him mechanisms to develop bilateral cooperation, as well as the political developments in the Middle East.
King Abdullah and Korean President are also expected to attend the signature ceremony of a number of bilateral agreements including Korean grant and loan agreements.
The King is also expected to meet with representatives of major Korean companies, where he will brief them on the opportunities the Jordanian economy could provide for investments and establishment of economic partnerships with the Asian private sector.
His Majesty will meet with a number of Asian economic leaderships, a number of Korean MPs and heads of industry and commerce chambers.
His Majesty is accompanied by HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, HRH Prince Hashem Bin Al Hussein, Minister of the Royal Court Sameer Rifai, King's advisor for media affairs Ali Al Fazza'a, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Basem Awad Allah and Minister of Finance Mohammad Abu Hammour.
